Speed's Towing began in 1958 as a part of the Flying A Service Station in downtown Portland. In 1966, Gary Coe joined as partner with his dad and owner, Harold Coe. Over the next 30 years, Gary grew the towing division to the nation's largest towing company with a fleet of over 150 trucks, 325 employees, and 14 locations covering greater Portland, Seattle and Salem.

Welcome to the Speed's Family. When you call us you are treated like our most precious family member. We are celebrating our 50th year of being in business, and we remember what it was like in 1958 to be a company that specialized in service.

Our goal is to make sure that you get extraordinary service and care every time you talk with us and to always give 5 star service to you and your vehicle. While towing is our expertise, we also provide battery jump starts, lockout service, tire changes, we carry compressed air and friendly service!

Please visit our auction sections, we sell about 200 vehicles every Tuesday. Vehicles come from unclaimed Police Tows, Consignments, and from the Auto Donation Programs of about 20 local charities and non-profits. If you are having trouble selling your car, we suggest you donate it to one of our charities or consign it to us, to sell for you.
