Angelina Arts Alliance

The Angelina Arts Alliance is a non-profit organization committed to connecting the families of Angelina and surrounding counties to the best professional live performing arts companies in the world.  Its mission is to enrich and entertain the community through music, dance, and theatre: from Broadway musicals to circus, ballet, choral music, country,
classical, comedy, and drama.

In addition to performances for the public, the Arts Alliance believes the arts are a rich source of learning and emotional development for the youth in the community.
It understands how an arts experience can add value to the educational process. Each year the Arts Alliance produces two educational programs for students.  The Schooltime Series invites students from schools throughout Angelina and surrounding counties to experience the wonder of live performing arts. A summer theatre camp -- Camp CenterStage -- enables young people, ages 6-16, to expand their creativity through acting, writing, technical theatre, movement. and music.

Arts Alliance performances take place in the beautiful Temple Theater; a 900-seat performing arts center, built for the community to share, located on the campus of Angelina College in Lufkin.

2010-11 Season will be announced in April. It is our 10th Anniversary Season!!
